A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device stored through your web browser.  DSW uses cookies to collect information from you regarding your usage of our website in order to remember user preferences and settings, personalize your experience, and for security purposes.  Those cookies are set by DSW.  DSW also uses third-party cookies for our advertising and marketing efforts (including retargeting), which are cookies from different domains than the DSW website you are visiting.

You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to DSW’s website.

They may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertisements on other sites.    They do not store directly personal identifiable information, but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device. If you do not allow these cookies as discussed above through your browser settings, you will experience less targeted advertising.

Information in Log Files. Log file information is automatically reported by your browser or mobile device each time you access our website. The information collected from log files may include your web request, IP address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, landing pages, and pages viewed.
